Dr Aran Moorthy

Dr Aran Moorthy (Aranan Murugamoorthy), Dentist

Aranan has been performing dentistry in W.A. for many years. He has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide. Aran deals with all aspects of dentistry, including restorative care, endodontics, crowns and bridges, implants, extractions and Invisalign.

Although born in Sri Lanka, Aran’s family moved to Australia when he was only a six-month-old baby. Aran loves dentistry because he has a genuine passion for helping people and making them feel comfortable when they come to the dentist.

His favourite thing about Mills Road Dental is the fantastic family atmosphere here. Since Aran bought the practice in 2016, he’s still looking forward to getting to know the existing patients and welcoming the new. Rejuvenated the practice has also been a joy for him. Over the last year, he has fully renovated the inside of the clinic, along with buying the latest in dental equipment and even opening up an on-site lab for our dental prosthetist to create a variety of dentures and mouthguards.

His most favourite indulgence? Travelling and food.

Dr Ashley (Ash) Foo, Associate Dentist

Dr Ashley Foo completed his dental training at the University of Queensland, receiving a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours.

New to Mills Road Dental, Dr Ash is undertaking a postgraduate certificate training in dental implantology through the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology (UK). Along with his keen interest in prosthodontics, Dr Ash is also considering further training in orthodontic work – for Invisalign and possibly fixed braces.

Ash says he loves the positive atmosphere of Mills Road Dental, along with the patient-orientated environment created by the staff and services the clinic provides.

When he’s not working? “You’ll find me watching Netflix with my partner, gaming on my brand-new PC and browsing the latest news in tech (both in and outside the dental world). I also enjoy playing badminton and swimming.” Dr Ash is also a keen traveller who loves to explore the site and foods the world has to offer. (Maybe next year, Ash! Fingers crossed…)

Nicole Agostinelli Mills Road Dental

Nicole Agostinelli, Oral Health Therapist

Nicole has a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Therapy from Curtin University. Nicole is passionate about promoting good oral hygiene, and also has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry – especially tooth whitening. She also enjoys working with patients to overcome dental anxiety.

When not working, she loves to be out and about with her border collie, Hugo. Biggest indulgence? Wining and dining!

Alice Nangongwe

Alice Nangongwe – Oral Health Therapist

Alice has a particular interest in general dentistry for children, along with helping prevent Australia’s ever-increasing problem of gum disease for all age groups. Alice likes to focus on always making her patients visit feel as comfortable and positive as possible by providing friendly and gentle care. When not working, Alice keeps herself busy attending Bible study, decorating her new home, online shopping – and feeding her biggest indulgences – fashion and staycations!

Angie, Mills Road Dental Centre

Angie, Dental Nurse

As our head nurse, Angie assists the dentist with all procedures as well as caring for the comfort of the patients. And, Angie reminds us, being a team member is also an important (and fulfilling) part of the job.

Originally from London, Angie says that without a doubt, the team of fantastic people she works with – and the wonderful group of patients – is what makes her love her job.

Her favourite indulgence? Travelling and adventure.

Shelleigh, Dental Assistant

There’s no denying that our Dental Assistant, Shelleigh is a ray of sunshine in our clinic. She loves working with all of our happy patients and close-knit team, and says the best part of working at Mills Road Dental is the positive atmosphere.

As a Dental Assistant, Shelleigh’s dynamic role involves assisting our dentists with chairside support, patient care, and ensuring a clean and healthy clinical environment. Cosmetic dentistry and crowns are her favourite areas of dentistry.

Away from the centre, you’ll find her spending time with her son doing some of their favourite activities – swimming, watching movies and of course, cuddling.

Karen Keane

Karen Keene,  Dental Assistant

Karen has a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting. Her favourite part of the job is helping the clinic patients get the best dental care they can. When it comes to areas of dentistry, crown and bridgework are her firm favourites.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Karen at home, gardening with her husband – and pet dingo.

Caitlin McIntosh - Dental Assistant

Caitlin McIntosh, Dental Assistant

Caitlin holds a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting. Caitlin loves dental, but her favourite part of working in the industry is restorative dentistry. What does she love best about working at Mills Road Dental? The fact that everyone is so welcoming!

It’s true – we like to think of our dental clinic as more like a laid-back bed-and-breakfast you love to escape to, not your usual ‘clinic’. 🙂

Sandy - Front Office Co-ordinator

Sandy, Front Office Coordinator

As the centre’s front office coordinator, Sandy’s the go-to girl for almost everything!

Originally from Queensland, Sandy loves being part of the team at Mills Road Dental and says she especially likes seeing our nervous patient coming out smiling.

Her most favourite indulgence? Chocolate! (Good thing she knows a good dentist…)

Beck - Dental receptionist

Bec, Front Office Coordinator

With a Certificate in Business Administration and 15-years’ experience as a Dental Assistant, Rebecca is a superstar Front Office Coordinator. Like all of the staff at Mills Road, when asked what her favourite part about working at the centre is, she loves the wonderful team which makes coming to work a pleasure and also getting to know our patients.

The one thing that sets her apart from the rest of the team? She doesn’t have a sweet tooth!
